In this piece, the dimensions have been thought out so that when it is opened, it becomes a functional and compartmentalized space, organizing pencils, paper, cables, pen drives, and other materials of day-to-day professional life, in addition to a laptop. When it becomes time to put those tasks away, one has only to slide the 80 cm wooden boards together—they glide without the aid of metal tracks—and everything is hidden under the “wings.” With its function switched, it becomes a different object: a sideboard, perhaps, or a simple table.
